Vitamin K3 veterinary supplement of Vitamin k for horses and other livestock to treat horse epistaxis & to stop hemorrhages in Cattle, Sheep, Goats, and Dogs.
Vitamin K3 can be used as a coumarin antidote in case of coumarin poisoning in dogs and cattle.
Composition:
Vitamin K3 Inj contain Active ingredient: Menadione Sodium metabisulfite (Trihydrate) 10 mg/ml.
Other ingredients:
Sodium Metabisulphate,
Sodium Chloride,
Benzyl Alcohol,
Propylene Glycol,
Water for injection.

Properties:
Vitamin K3 Inj contain Menadione which is a synthetic form of Vitamin K. Vitamin K is a cofactor in the post-ribosomal synthesis of clotting factors including: 11 (prothrombin), VII (proconvertin), IX (plasma thromboplastin component) and X (Staurt factor) factors as well as proteins C and S that are involved in the production and inhibition of thrombin.

Indications:
In large animals: In case of Epistaxis in racing Horses, Jaundice of newborn, Anemia, Heavy metal intoxication, Hepatic and intestinal disorders, Prevention of bleeding measures during delivery and surgery.
Vitamin K3 used as an antidote to the Coumarine group in Dogs and Cattle.
Target species:
It a product of Vitamin k for horses ,cattle, sheep, goats, and dogs.
Dosage and Administration:
Vitamin K3 Administered by subcutaneous or intramuscular injection.
Cattle, Sheep, Horses and Goats: 0.5-2.5 ml /10 kg bodyweight/ day.
Dogs: 0.25 -2.5 ml / 10 kg bodyweight / day.
Adverse reactions:
Excessive high doses of Vitamin K3 produce: hemolytic anemia, heamoglobinuria and kernicterus in newborns.
Withdrawal period:
Nill.
Storage:
-Protect Vitamin K3 from light, Store in a dry place below 25°C.
-Shelf life: 24 months.
