Cal-Phos is providing phosphorus and calcium for horses to keep the balanced calcium phosphorus ratio for horses and can be used as one of foal growth supplements & as mares supplement too.

Cal-Phos calcium for horses contains:
Calcium carbonate 50%
Dicalcium phosphate 25%
Dendritic salt 25%
USES:
-Calcium and phosphorus are two of the most important macro minerals in terms of quantity required by horses, but it is the ratio of these elements that is crucial.
-This is particularly important where horses are fed a diet with high grain intake as grains can have a ratio of phosphorous to calcium as high as 6 to 1.
-Calcium is essential for the development of strong bones.
-Regular feeding of Cal-Phos can assist in the maintenance of a balanced ratio of 2 calcium to 1 of phosphorus in the diet as a whole and can help to supply essential salt.
-Ideal for foals and yearlings to aid skeletal development.
-Ideal for mares, foal, and lactating mares.
