Egytyline 50% | Tylosin tartrate | respiratory antibiotic | for poultry

Egytyline 50% is a veterinary antibiotic (Tylosin) for the treatment of mycoplasma and respiratory bacterial infections in poultry.
Composition :
Each 1 gm Egytyline 50% contains:
Tylosin tartrate…540.9 mg (equal to tylosin base…500 mg)
PROPERTIES :
-Tylosin is a macrolide antibiotic that is mainly active against gram +ve bacteria and Mycoplasma.
-It is also active against some gram -ve bacteria;Spirochetes, Ricketts and chlamydia.
Tylosin acts as a bacteriostatic. It inhibits the protein synthesis of sensitive micro-organisms by binding at the level of 50-S ribosome subunits, leading to inhibition of the translation step.
Indications :
– Treatment of chronic respiratory disease (CRD) caused by Mycoplasma spp. in broiler chickens and replacement flocks.
-Treatment of fowl coryza caused by Haemophilus paragallinarum.
DOSAGE :
1 gm/ liter of drinking water for 3-5 days
