Mastikel N.P. composition:
Mastikel N.P. contains:
Procaine benzylpenicillin 300 000 IU (eq. with Procaine benzylpenicillin 300 mg)
Neomycin sulphate 500 000 IU (eq. with Neomycin base 500 mg)
excipients up to 10 g.
Indication:
For treatment of mastitis caused by penicillin and/or neomycin sensitive microorganisms.
Dosage and Administration:
-First empty the udder by milking, clean the teats and disinfect the teat opening.
-After cleaning the teat, administer the content of one injector to the affected quarter.
-Administer three times with intervals of 24 hours.
-Do not use one and the same injector for several quarters.
Withdrawal Periods:
Meat: The treated animal shall not be slaughtered within 20 days after treatment.
Milk: The milk of treated animals should not be used for human consumption within 204 hours (17 milkings) after treatment.
Storage:
Store below 30°C.
Keep the syringe in the outer carton in order to protect from light.
Keep out of reach of children.
