AMOXAN PREMIUM antibacterial veterinary drug contains Amoxicillin for Cattle, sheep, dogs & cats , effective in the treatment of digestive tract infections & respiratory infections as enteritis, gastroenteritis, gastroenterocolitis bronchitis, bronchopneumonia, rhinitis metritis, endometritis, cystitis, urethritis, and pyelonephritis
COMPOSITION
each 1 ml AMOXAN PREMIUM contains active substance:
Amoxicillin (as micronized Amoxicillin trihydrate of hight chemical purity) – 150.0 mg,
Excipients: benzyl alcohol, butylhydroxytoluene, butylhydroxyanisole, propylene glycol dicaprylate/dicaprate.
INDICATIONS
Cattle, sheep, goats: treatment of animals with diseases of the digestive tract (enteritis, gastroenteritis, gastroenterocolitis),
respiratory organs (bronchitis, bronchopneumonia, rhinitis),
urogenital system (metritis, endometritis, cystitis, urethritis, pyelonephritis), as well as diseases of joints, skin and soft tissues (umbilical infections, wounds, abscesses), caused by pathogens susceptible to Amoxicillin.
Dogs and cats:
treatment of animals with diseases of the digestive tract (enteritis, gastroenteritis, gastroenterocolitis),
respiratory organs (bronchitis, pneumonia, rhinitis)
and genitourinary system (endometritis, cystitis, urethritis, pyelonephritis), joints, skin and soft tissues (wounds, abscesses, inflammation) caused by microorganisms sensitive to Amoxicillin.
ROUTES OF ADMINISTRATION AND DOSAGE
give AMOXAN PREMIUM Intramuscularly, once at a dose of 1 ml of the drug per 10 kg of body weight (equivalent to 15 mg of Amoxicillin per 1 kg of body weight).
If necessary, repeat the injection after 48 hours.
In dogs and cats, the drug can be administered subcutaneously.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.
Do not administer AMOXAN PREMIUM to rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, and other small herbivores.
in pregnant cows in the last month of pregnancy and in sows in the first third of gestation.
administer to weak, exhausted animals and animals with severe renal failure.
concurrently with bacteriostatic antibiotics (macrolides, chloramphenicol, lincosamides, tetracyclines, sulfonamides), and do not administer intravenously.
PRECAUTIONS
Pain and temporary swelling may occur at the injection site.
In some cases, allergic reactions are possible, which quickly disappear after discontinuation of the drug. Intoxication with an overdose is almost impossible. If allergic reactions occur, it is advisable to administer corticosteroids and adrenaline to animals.
Before use, the drug must be thoroughly shaken.
The use of the drug should be based on determining the sensitivity of pathogens to Amoxicillin, as well as taking into account the rules for the use of antimicrobial drugs.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD
The slaughter of animals for meat is allowed in 18 days (cattle, sheep, and goats)
Milk for human consumption is allowed in 3 days after the last treatment.
SHELF LIFE AND STORAGE CONDITIONS
Store AMOXAN PREMIUM in a dark place, out of the reach of children, at a temperature of 5 to 25°С.
Shelf life – 24 months.
After the first opening of the bottle – 28 days when stored in a dry, dark place at a temperature of 5 to 25°С
