Apilax powder(veterinary drug) is used to treat indigestion in ruminants & non-specific detoxicant monogastric animals
Composition
Each pack of Apilax powder (99 g.) Contains:
- -Magnesium Carbonate 87 g
- -Sodium Carbonate 10 g.
- -Gentiana Herbal 2 g.
Indications
Apilax powder is indicated as a laxative for ruminants in the case of :
-rumen indigestion & overfeeding.
–rumen acidosis, tympanitis & constipation.
-Anorexia.
Apilax is indicated for stomachic animals as a non-specific detoxicant.
Dosage
Large animals (cows, horses, camels & buffaloes)
Dissolve one pack in one liter of drinking water( given as a drench).
Small animals ( calves, sheep & goats )
Dissolve 50 g in ½ liter of drinking water(given as drench).
withdrawal period
5 days
Contraindications
DON’T USE IN CASE OF :
-dehydrated animals
-In cases of strychnine poisoning
-renal failure.
-Used with caution in DOGS.

Each pack contains 99 grams of powder.
Store tightly closed, in a dry and dark place below 30°
