COLIJAT is a veterinary antibiotic of colistin sulphate for poultry, calves and lambs. it’s used for treating gastointestinal tract infections caused by different bacteria as: calves, lambs and poultry salmonella.
COMPOSITION
Each gm COLIJAT contains
- Colistin (as sulphate) 10 MIU
INDICATIONS
COLIJAT For the control and treatment of gastrointestinal infections caused by Escherichia coli , Salmonella sp., Shigella sp., Klebsiella sp., and Pseudomonas sp.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
Poultry–1gm per 10 liters of drinking water, daily for 3-5 days
Calves and lambs– 2.5 mg Colistin sulphate per kg bw 1 ml of 5% solution (5 gm Colijat +95 ml water) per 10 kg bw, twice daily for 3-5 days.
WITHDRAWAL TIME
Meat: 2 days
Eggs: Nil
