Colivet is one of the best antibiotics for fowl typhoid (colistin sulfate) to treat infections in poultry.
Composition
Each 1 ml Colivet liquid contains
Colistin Sulphate—————– 83.3 mg
(Equivalent to 2 MIU Colistin base 66.7 mg)
Indications for antibiotics for fowl typhoid
Colivet liquid Oral Solution is indicated for the treatment of: –
Infectious coryza caused by Hemophilus paragallinarum.
Pullorum disease caused by Salmonella pullorum.
Fowl typhoid caused by Salmonella gallinarum
Coli septicemia caused by E. coli.
Dosage
Colivet liquid added to drinking water
Poultry
1 ml Colivet liquid Oral Solution / 2.5 liter of drinking water for 3 – 5 days
