Intermectin contains:
- Active substance: lvermectin (10 mg/ml)
- Excipients: glycerol formal, propylene glycol
Indications:
Intermectin is a broad spectrum paraciticide indicated for the treatment and control of the following parasites in cattle and sheep
cattle:
Gastrointestinal nematodes, lungworms , roundworm , warbles ,screw-worm fly ،lice ., mites and ticks
Persistent activity: At the recommended dosage re-infection with the following nematodes is controlled: Cooperia spp (for 7 days), Ostertagia spp. (for 7 days). Dictyocaulus viviparus (for 14 days)Gastrointestinal nematodes
sheep:
Gastrointestinal nematodes, warbles , lung worms and mites
Adverse reactions:
Mild transient discomfort is occasionally observed following administration of Intermectin. Consult veterinary surgeon for other adverse effects if seen
Target species:
Cattle and sheep
Dosage for each species, route(s), and method of administration
for subcutaneous administration
Cattle: 0.2 mg ivermectin per kg body weight(corresponding to 1 ml per 50 kg body weight) is administered subcutaneously under the loose skin in .front of or behind the shoulder
Sheep: 0.2 mg ivermectin per kg body weight(corresponding to 0.5 ml per 25 kg body weight) is administered subcutaneously under the loose skin . behind the shoulder
Withdrawal times::
Cattle: Meat and offals: 49 days.
Sheep: Meat and offals: 63 days.
Do not use in cattle and sheep producing milk for human consumption.
Do not use in non-lactating dairy cows and pregnant heifers that are within 60 days of calving
Special storage precautions:
Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
Store below 25 °C in original packaging to protect from light.
Do not refrigerate or freeze.
Use within 28 days once in use
