Mycospectin is a veterinary antibiotic injection that contains lincomycin and spectinomycin. It is used in treating cat Urinary tract infections. It is also effective in treating foot rot in sheep.

Composition :

Each ml Mycospectin contains:
Lincomycin: 50 mg/ml “5%
Spectinomycin: 100mg/ml “10%”

Indication :

Cattle:
Mycospectin for Treatment of pneumo-enteritis.
Sheep & goat :
Treatment of respiratory infection & foot rot.
Dogs & cats :
• Treatment of respiratory infections ,Skin infections.
• Abscesses & infected bite wounds.
• Urinary tract infections.
• Gastroenteritis.

Dosage :

Administered by IM injection.
Cattle : 1 ml /10 kg body weight twice daily for the first day, followed by once daily for 2 to 4 days.
Sheep & goat : 1 ml /10 kg body weight IM once daily for 3 days.
Dogs & cats : 1 ml / 5 kg body weight IM may be repeated at 12 or 24 hours intervals for up to 21 days.
