OXYJAT-20% LA is a veterinary antibiotic of oxytetracycline for animals used for treating bacterial infections including bacterial pneumonia, soft tissue infections, genitourinary tract and gastrointestinal tract infections. Check the details below for more information..
COMPOSITION:
Each ml OXYJAT-20% LA contains:
Oxytetracycline (as dihydrate) 200 mg.
INDICATIONS:
OXYJAT-20% LA is indicated in the treatment of Actinobacillosis, Anaplasmosis, Diphtheria, Leptospirosis, bacterial pneumonia, soft tissue infections, genitourinary tract infection (Cervicitis, Metritis, Mastitis).
Mycoplasmosis and gastrointestinal tract infections.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
Cattle, Buffaloes, Camels, Sheep & Goats-
20 mg per kg bw (1ml per 10kg bw).
OXYJAT-20% LA is given by deep IM route, as a single dose.
WITHDRAWAL TIME:
Meat-
Cattle, buffaloes, camels: 31 days.
Sheep and goats: 9 days.
Milk-
Cows, buffaloes, and camels: 10 days.
Sheep and goats: 7 days.
PRESENTATIONS:
50 ml and 100 ml.
