OXYJAT-300 LA COMPOSITION:
Each 1 ml of OXYJAT-300 LA contains:
Oxytetracycline (as dihydrate) BP 300 mg, Excipients q.s.
Indication
It is a veterinary broad-spectrum antimicrobial agent against bacteria & parasites sensitive to oxytetracycline that affect Cattle, buffaloes, camels, sheep & goats.
DOSAGE
Cattle, buffaloes, camels, sheep & goats: By I/M injection at the standard dose of 20 mg/ kg (ml /1kg) for activity up to 3 to 4 days or at 30 mg/ kg (1ml/10 kg) for a prolonged duration of activity for 5 to 6 days.
Maximum recommended dosage at one site:
Cattle, Buffaloes and Camels: 15 ml,
Sheep: 5 ml.
PRECAUTIONS
-Do not dilute it.
-If repeated administration is required, use a separate injection site.
-Do not mix with other injectable solutions.
WITHDRAWAL TIME
Meat
Cattle and Sheep: 28 days (in case of 20 mg per kg dose).
Cattle – 35 days, Sheep: 28 days (in case of 30 mg per kg dose).
Milk
Cattle: 10 days.
Sheep: 8 days.
