Composition
SPIROVIT contains:
Spiramycin-600 000 IU
Benzyl alcohol -41.6 mg
Water for injection
List of excipients: Dimethylacetamide
Indications
1- SPIROVIT is used in cows to prevent and treat respiratory diseases.
2- Gastroenteritis.
3- Mastitis and uterine infections.
4- Navel infections and umbilical vein infections.
5- Joint infections.
6- Hoof rot.
Dosage and Administration
SPIROVIT is given by Intramuscular route.
Calves: 75 000 IU of spiramycin/kg b.w. i.e.5 mL of SPIROVIT/40 kg b.w. as single injection or 2 administrations at 24 hours interval.
Cattle: 30 000 IU of spiramycin/kg b.w. i.e. 5 mL of SPIROVIT/100 kg b.w. as single injection or 2 administrations at 24 hours interval
Do not inject more than 15 mL in cattle and calves,
Precautions
SPIROVIT Can be used during pregnancy and lactation.
Do not treat animals hypersensitive to macrolides.
Withdrawal period
Meat and offals: 21 days.
Milk: 7 days i.e. 14 milkings.
Storage
Store SPIROVIT below 25°C. Keep the vial in the outer carton in order to protect from light
