Composition:

Each 1 ml Tylosin 20% contains:
Tylosin as tartrate 200 mg.

Properties:

Tylosin 20% belongs to macrolides antibiotics, which produces its antibacterial effect by blocking the protein synthesis of bacterial cell.

Tylosin 20% injection is rapidly absorbed from the site of injection and reaches its peak blood level within 15: 30 minutes and reached quickly to all body tissues, lungs, air sacs, ovaries, urinary tract, …etc.

Tylosin 20% ( tylosin injection for animals ) is the antibiotic of choice for combating the Mycoplasmosis, gram-positive bacteria, Chlamydiosis and Spirochetosis.

Indications:

Cattle, Calves, Sheep and Goats
Tylosin 20% is used for the treatment of Mycoplasmosis, respiratory and genitourinary infections.
Tylosin is effective in pneumonia, metritis, pneumo-enteritis, leptospirosis, foot rot, calf diphtheria, wound infections and secondary infections during viral infections.

Poultry
Used for the treatment of Mycoplasmosis CRD.

Dogs and Cats
For the treatment of pneumonia, otitis externa, bronchitis, laryngitis, tracheobronchitis, tonsillitis, certain form of feline rhinitis, metritis, interdigital
cystitis, leptospirosis, wound infections and secondary infections during viral infections.

Dosage and Administration:

The dose is given to animals by I.M Inj. And to poultry by S.C Inj.
Cattle, Calves, Sheep and Goats
20 mg per kg B.Wt. I.M daily for 3-5 days.
Poultry
10 mg per kg B.Wt. S.C daily for 3-5 days.
Dogs and Cats
10 mg per kg B.Wt. I.M daily for 3-5 days.
