Composition
Peni-Kel contains
Procaine benzyl penicillin 300 mg (300.000 1.U.) – Povidone – Hydrochloric acid, concentrated Potassium dihydrogen phosphate – Sodium citrate dihydrate – Sodium methyl-parahydroxybenzoate – Disodium edetate Water for injections up to 1 ml.
Indication :
It is used in Cattle, sheep, goat :for treatment of respiratory tract infections, Mastitis caused by Streptococci and penicillin G-sensitive Staphylococcus aureus, Pyelonephritis, polyarthritis caused by Streptococci, footrot.
Horse: Tetanus, strangles, polyarthritis in foals.
Dosage and administration:
Horses, cattle, sheep, goats: 0.5 – 2 ml /30 kg b.w., I.M.
Inject with 12h intervals for 3 to 5 days.
Withdrawal Periods :
Meat : 14 days.
Milk: 7 days.
Storage:
Store in a refrigerator (2°C -8°C), Protect from light.
