Vitamin k3 is one of the most important animal vitamins, you can use the product in various conditions including horse epistaxis, to stop haemorrhages and can be used as a coumarin antidote in case of coumarin poisoning in dogs and cattle.

Vitamin k3 contains:
Effective Material:
Menadione sodium metabisulfite (trihydrate) 10 mg/ml.
Inactive materials:
Sodium metabisilicate, sodium chloride, benzyl alcohol, propylene glycol, water for injection.
Properties:
-Menadione is a synthetic form of vitamin K.
-Vitamin K is a cofactor in the synthesis of post-coagulation factors, ribosomal factors, including: Factor II (prothrombin), VII (proconvertin), IX (the plasma component coagulase) and X (Stewart factor) as well as C and S proteins that are involved in the production and inhibition of thrombin.
Uses:
-In large animals: Vitamin K3 is used in cases of epistaxis in racehorses,
-jaundice in newborn animals,
-Anaemia,
-heavy metal poisoning,
-intestinal and hepatic disorders,
-for the prevention of haemorrhage in obstetrics and surgeries.
-used as an antidote to the coumarin group in dogs and cows.
Target animals:
Cows, sheep, horses, goats, and dogs.
Dosage and method of use:
It is given by injection into a muscle or under the skin.
Cows, sheep, horses and goats: 0.5-2.5 ml / 10 kg of animal weight / day.
Dogs: 0.25 – 2.5 ml/ 10 kg of animal weight/ day.
Side Effects:
Giving a high dose to animals leads to: anaemia, an increase in bile in the blood and Jaundice in newborn animals.
Storage:
Store away from light in a dry place at a temperature below 20°C.
Shelf life:
29 months.
