Composition
Tilosina 200 contains
- Tylosin (base),........................... 200 mg
- Excipient q.s............................ 1 ml
Indications
Tilosina 200 for Cattle (Beef cattle and non-lactating milking cows): for the treatment of Bovine respiratory complex (BRD) generally associated with Pasteurella multocida and Corynebacterium pyogenes pneumonia, bronchitis, diphtheria and metritis
Dosage
Cattle: 0.5-0.9 ml of Tilosina 200 Ganadexil® per 10 kg of body weight (equivalent to 10-18 mg of tylosin base per kg of body weight) every 24 hours for 3-5 days. Intramuscular route
Side effects
-After subcutaneous injection painful irritation and local oedema occur at the inject necrosis, hemorrhages and conjunctival neoformation phenomenons
-Intramuscular injection may cause a local reaction within days after injection
-In bovine, could appear an increase of pulse rate and respiratory movements
Withdrawal time
Meat: 21 days
Do not administer Tilosina 200 in lactating females producing milk for human consumption
Storage conditions
Store Tilosina 200 below 25 °C.
Protect from light. Store in a dry place
