COMPOSITION
Each ml of LYSOPAST Inactivated vaccine against Pasteurella multocida contains:
Pasteurella multocida group A inactivated 2 0.6 ELISA.U1
Pasteurella multocida group D inactivated 2 0.6 ELISA.U1
Mannheimia haemolytica type A1 inactivated 2 0.6 ELISA.U1
Aluminium (as hydroxide), 1.4 mg
Free formaldehyde < 0.5 mg
Excipient s.q.f 1 ml
INDICATIONS
LYSOPAST INDICATIONS :
In cattle and sheep:
Active immunisation against infections
caused by Pasteurella multocida A and D
and by Mannheimia haemolytica.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
ROUTE:
Subcutaneous route.
In front of or behind the shoulder in cattle. Behind the elbow or at the inner thighs in sheep.
Shake well before use.
Dosage:
Cattle:
– Under 100 Kg BW : 2 ml.
– Over 100 Kg BW : 5 ml.
Sheep:
– Under 30 Kg BW: 1 ml.
– Over 30 Kg BW : 2 ml.
Vaccination schedule:
Primary vaccination: 2 injections at 4 weeks interval.
Booster: 1 annual injection.
Specific cases:
Young animals:
Born of vaccinated dams: 2 injections at 2-4 weeks interval as of vaccination as of the 3rd week of age
Born of unvaccinated dams: 2 injections at 2-4 weeks interval as of vaccination as of the 1st week of age.
PRECAUTIONS FOR USE:
– Vaccinate only healthy animals using LYSOPAST.
– Apply usual aseptic procedures.
– Disinfect the inoculation site and avoid
inadvertent trauma.
– Use only clean, antiseptic and/or
disinfectant
-free equipment for vaccination.
– Avoid injecting the vaccine at too low
temperature.
CONTRA-INDICATIONS:
None.
SIDE EFFECTS:
– The presence of aluminum hydroxide in LYSOPAST can sometimes cause the appearance of a transient nodule, at the injection site, which regresses within 1 to 2 weeks.
– Vaccination may occasionally reveal
hypersensitivity reactions, asymptomatic
treatment should be given.

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD
LYSOPAST has no withdrawal time
STORAGE:
LYSOPAST Store and transport between +2°C and +8°C.
Protect from light. Do not freeze.
After opening, use the vaccine immediately
