COMPOSITION
ALBENDEX10% contains
Albendazole..10 g
Diluent to ..100 ml
TARGET SPECIES AND INDICATIONS
ALBENDEX10% is intended for cattle, sheep and goats in the treatment of:
Gastrointestinal and pulmonary nematodosis caused by albendazole sensitive nematodes,
not only adult forms but also larvae and eggs.
Taeniasis produced by Moniezia spp.
–Distomatosis.
it is not recomended in the treatment of acute fascioliasis caused by immature forms.
ADMINISTRATION AND DOSAGE
Administer it orally using an automatic syringe with adjustable dose.
Cattle:
Treatment of nematodosis and taeniasis: 7.5 mg of albendazole/kg b.w. (equivalent to 0.75 ml / 10 kg b.w.), at a single dose
Treatment of fascioliasis: 10 mg of albendazole / kg b.w. (equivalent to 1.0 ml of ALBENDEX10% /10 kg b.w.), at a single dose
Sheep and goats:
Treatment of nematodosis and taeniasis: 5 mg/ kg b.w. (equivalent to 0.5 ml / 10 kg b.w.), at a single dose.
Treatment of fascioliasis: 7.5 mg of albendazole / kg b.w. at a single dose.
Withdrawal time
Cattle: 14 days.
Sheep and goats: 10 days.
Milk: 4 days.
STORAGE CONDITIONS
Do not store ALBENDEX10% above 30°C.
Keep out of reach of children
