Composition
Each 1 ml Albevet contains
- Albendazole 25 mg
- Propyl paraben, Methyl paraben.
Indications
it is a broad spectrum anthelmintic drug which is high against adult liver flukes infestation Fasciola Hepatica in Cattle, Camels, Sheep and Goat
Target species
Cattle, Camels, Sheep and Goats.
Contraindication
Do not use in cases of hypersensitivity to Albendazole or any of the excipients
Dosage and administration
Albevet is administrated orally by a drench gun.
To ensure administration of a correct dose, bodyweight should be determined as accurately as possible.
for Liver Flukes Mature Stages
Cattle and Camels 20-25ml per 50 kg bodyweight
sheep and Goats 3 ml per 10 kg bodyweight
Warnings
Care must be taken not to damage the pharyngeal region when dosing, particularly in Sheep
Do not treat animals during the first third of the gestation period.
Withdrawal period
Cattle and Camels: 27 days
Sheep and Goats: 7 days
Milk from treated animals with Albevet should not be used for human consumption
Storage
Protect from light, Store Albevet in a dry place, below 25°C.
Shelf life: 24 months
