Bykatonic injection for treatment of ketosis, quick treatment of constipation, decreased appetite, colic gas, and intestinal atony in horses, cattle& dogs
Composition
Each 1 ml Bykatonic contains
clandestine sodium 106.4 mg.
(Equiv. to Clanobutine base 100 mg.)
Properties:
Clanobutine acts as a choleretic agent by increasing the secretory activity of exocrine digestive glands, increasing bile secretion, and stimulating pancreatic enzymes such as pepsin, trypsin, chymotrypsin, and amylase.
It also acts as a hepatoprotective agent by protecting the liver during digestive disorders.
It also acts as a cardio tonic by increasing the protection force and the number of beats per minute and increasing cardiac output and coronary flow.
Target Species:
Horses, Cattle & Dogs.
Indications:
It is indicated for overeating, bloat, ketosis, constipation, decreased appetite, colic gas, and intestinal atony.
Dosage:
General dose:
1– 2 ml per 10 kg in weight ( 10 – 20 mg Clanobutine per kg. ), to repeat as possible after 12 to 24 hours intramuscularly or intravenously.
Adult cattle & Horses: 20 – 30 ml by I/V
Dogs: 2– 8 ml by I/M.
