Dosage and administration:
-Feed one 30ml tube to the back of the tongue as soon as possible after birth to each calf in the herd.
-Where there is a high level of infectious challenge on the farm, repeat Calf aid after 5 days.
-For young calves newly introduced to the herd, e.g. those brought in from other farms or the mart, where disease history is unknown, administer the paste on arrival at the farm.
Note:
It is essential to administer to calves as soon as possible after birth so that the immunoglobulins can be absorbed before gut absorption of immunoglobulins ceases.
