COCCIDIPAN FOR VETERINARY USE ONLY WITH A PRESCRIPTION
coccidiopan is an anticoccidial drug with vitamins for poultry (vitamin K & A) and it’s effective in fowl cholera treatment and fowl typhoid.
Composition
Each 1 gm COCCIDIPAN contains
- Sulphaquinoxaline Sodium ----------------150 mg
- Sulphadiazine Sodium---------------------- 70 mg
- Sulphadimidine sodium --------------------70 mg
- Vitamin K3------------------------------------- 2 mg
- Vitamin A --------------------------------------8000 I.U.
Properties
COCCIDIOPAN consists of three sulphonamides that cooperate with each other to eliminate all types of coccidia in poultry & small animals.
The vitamin A in COCCIDIOPAN is essential for the building of new tissues in the body, and Vitamin K3 prevents bleeding in the intestine of poultry.
Indications
COCCIDIOPAN is effective against most of the Eimeria species that cause coccidiosis in the caeca and intestine of poultry and other animals.
COCCIDIOPAN is also useful in treating fowl typhoid, fowl cholera and another bacterial enteritis.
Dosage & administration
Poultry
Gm 1 per 2 litres of drinking water for 3 successive days
After 2 days interruption, the treatment may be continued for another 3 days
Or add 100-140 mg of COCCIDIOPAN per 1 kg BW to the drinking water daily
withdrawal period
Meat: 10 days
Eggs: Not for use in layer producing eggs for human consumption.
Over Dosage
Overdoses may cause restlessness and convulsions
These side effects can be avoided by following the recommended dosage.
Storage
Store COCCIDIOPAN in a dark place at a temperature below 30°C.
