Combi kel is a veterinary antibiotic that is effectively used to treat infections caused by Penicillin G in horses, cattle, sheep, goats, dogs, and cats,
composition:
Combi Kel contains:
Procaine benzylpenicillin (lecithin coated) 200 mg (eq. 200 000 I.U.)
Dihydrostreptomycin sulfate eq. 200 mg Dihydrostreptomycin Procaine hydrochloride Povidone Sodium citrate (E331)
Sodium formaldehyde sulfoxylate
Sodium methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E219) 1.14 mg
Water for injections up to 1 ml.
Indications:
Combi Kel used for Infections caused by penicillin G and/or DHS susceptible microorganisms
Contraindications:
Do not administer it to animals known to be hypersensitive to one of the components
Renal insufficiency
Do not use intravenously
Target species:
Horse, cattle, sheep, goat, dog, cat.
Administration & dosage:
It is administered By Intramuscular, subcutaneous or intraperitoneal injection
– Adult horse, cattle: 12.5 ml/200 kg b.w./day
– Calves, sheep, goats: 5 ml/50 kg b.w./day
– dogs, cats: 0.5 ml/5 kg b.w./day
Duration of treatment
cattle: 2-4 days
sheep, goats: 3-5 days
dogs: 1-7 days
cats: 2-5 days
Withdrawal period:
Slaughter: 30 days
Milk delivery: 4 days.
