COMPOSITION
Each ml DFV DOXIVET contains:
Active substances:
Doxycycline hyclate 100 mg
Bromhexine hydrochloride 10 mg
Excipient q.s.
TARGET SPECIES:
Poultry Broilers and cattle pre-ruminant calves.
INDICATIONS:
Broilers:
– treats chronic respiratory disease and micoplasmosis caused by Mycoplasma spp sensitives to doxycycline.
Pre-ruminant calves:
–Treatment of respiratory infections caused by Pasteurella multocida and Mannheimia haemolytica sensitive to doxycycline.
DOSAGE& ADMINISTRATION:
Administrate it in drinking water or milk.
Broilers: administration in drinking water.
Pre- ruminant calves: administration in milk. Broilers: 10 mg doxycycline & 1 mg of bromhexine hydrochloride per kg body weight per day, equivalent to 0.1 ml per kg body weight per day, during 4-5 consecutive days.
Pre-ruminant calves: 10 mg of doxycycline & 1 mg of bromhexine hydrochloride per kg body weight per day, equivalent to 0.1 ml per kg body weight per day, during 4-5 days.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:
Calves pre-ruminant calves:
Meat and offal: 16 days.
DFV DOXIVET is Not authorized for use in dairy cows producing milk for human consumption.
Broilers: Meat and offal: 4 days.
Not authorised for use in laying hens producing eggs for human consumption.
Do not use within 4 weeks of onset of the laying period.
SPECIAL STORAGE PRECAUTIONS:
Keep out of sight and reach of children.
This veterinary medicinal product does not require any special storage conditions.
Shelf-life after first opening the immediate packaging: 6 months.
Shelf-life after solution or reconstitution according to directions: 24 hours
after dilution in drinking water and 6 hours in milk replacer
