Composition
ENRO SAV 10% contains
Enrofloxacin.. 100 mg
PROPERTIES
Enrofloxacin a synthetic, broad-spectrum antimicrobial substance belonging to the fluoroquinolone group of antibiotics.
It is bactericidal in action and effective against many gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria and mycoplasmas
INDICATIONS
ENRO SAV 10% is Indicated for :
Cattle for infections of the respiratory and alimentary tract of bacterial or mycoplasmal origin (e.g. pasteurellosis, mycoplasmosis, colibacillosis, colisepticemia, and salmonellosis) and secondary bacterial infections after viral conditions (e.g. viral pneumonia)
Dogs and Cats Indicated in the treatment of bacterial infections of the alimentary, respiratory, and urogenital tracts, skin, secondary wound infections, and otitis externa
CONTRA-INDICATION
ENRO SAV 10% injection should not be used for prophylaxis Dogs under 1 year of age should not be treated as a precaution very large breeds of dogs should not be treated until they are 18 months of age.
Not for use in cats less than 8 weeks of age
Do not exceed the recommended dosage.
In accidental overdose there is no antidote and treatment should be symptomatic
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
Cattle 0.5-1.0 ml/20 kg bodyweight daily by subcutaneous injection for 3-5 days. or 5ml/100kg b.w. for 2 days by slow intravenous injection.
Not more than 10 ml should be administered at one subcutaneous injection site.
Dogs and Cats 0.5 ml/10 kg bodyweight by subcutaneous injection once daily for up to 5 days
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD
Animals must not be slaughtered for human consumption during treatment.
Meat: 14 days
Milk: 3 days
Do not administer ENRO SAV 10% to animal-producing milk for human consumption
STORAGE
Store ENRO SAV 10% in a dry & dark place below 30°C
Use the product within 28 days after punching
Keep out of reach of children
