Composition:
Each 1 ml of Metafosphan contains: Butaphosphan 100mg, Cyanocobalamin ( Vit. B12 ) 0.05 mg.
Properties:
Metafosphan contains: Butaphosphan is one of organic phosphorus that is involved in all organic systems for improving the process of assimilation.
Vitamin B12 is involved in the synthesis of proteins and red cells.
Indications:
Metafosphan used For protecting and treatment of any phosphorus deficiency and in cases of acute and chronic metabolic diseases and disorders.
Target Species:
Cattle, Horses, Sheep, Goats, Calves and Foals.
Dose:
To be injected I/V, I/M or S/C. Cattle & Horses : 10 – 25 ml. Calves & Foals : 5 – 12.5 ml. Sheep & Goats : 2.5 – 5 ml. Dose should be repeated if necessary.
In chronic cases, half of the dose should be taken for several times at various intervals from 3 – 5 days.
Side effects:
Not used with animals that have Hypersensitivity to Cyanocobalamin.
