Neostrept Liquid | Neomycin & streptomycin | Treats enteritis
For Veterinary Use Only With a Prescription.
NEOSTREPT oral solution is indicated for the treatment of enteritis caused by neomycin and/or streptomycin sensitive Bacteria such as E. coli, salmonella spp.
Composition:
Each 1 ml NEOSTREPT Liquid contains:
Neomycin sulfate 70 mg (Equivalent to 47.6 mg neomycin).
Streptomycin sulfate 70 mg (Equivalent to 55.9 mg streptomycin).
Indications:
NEOSTREPT oral solution is indicated for the treatment of enteritis caused by neomycin and/or streptomycin sensitive Bacteria such as E. coli, salmonella spp ,….etc.
Dosage:
1 ml / 1 liter of drinking water for 3 – 4 days.
In severe Cases:
2 ml / 1 liter of drinking water (1 ml / 5 kg B.Wt) for 3 – 4 days.
Contra-Indications:
-Not used in cases of hypersensitivity to aminoglycosides.
-Not used for lambs with active rumen.
Withdrawal:
Poultry: 5 days.
