Composition
Each 1 ml Oxymisole Plus contains:
Levamisole hydrochloride 30 mg
Oxyclosanide 60 mg
Properties
Levamisole is a type of imidazothiazole that works by blocking a parasite’s neurotransmitter
Effective against mature and immature intestinal worms and lungworms.
Oxymisole Plus is effective against mature liverworms. Distributed to the liver, kidneys and intestines.
Uses
It is used for the treatment and control of gastric and intestinal worms, lung worms, adult liver worms and expels fasciola worms that reside in the bile duct.
Target animals
Cows and sheep.
Dosages and method of use
Oxymisole Plus is administered directly orally via a syringe, at a rate of 7.5 mg levamisole hydrochloride/kg body weight and 15 mm oxymidazole per kg.
of body weight in doses:
Cows: 2.5 ml / 10 kg of body weight.
Sheep: 0.5 ml / 2 kg of body weight.
Contraindications
Not to treat animals within 14 days before or after being treated with organophosphorus compounds.
If the doses are increased, symptoms may appear in animals such as motor impairment, head shaking, loss of appetite, weight loss, slow movement and consciousness, soft stools in sheep and the possibility of diarrhea.
Notes:
It can be given to pregnant and lactating animals.
Possibility of diarrhea, increased defecation rate and loss of appetite.
Not to be mixed with other products.
Treatment withdrawal period
Milk is not used in animals that produce milk for human consumption.
