Composition
OXYTETRAVET-200LA contains:

Inactive Ingredients: Dimethylacetamide, Ethanolamine, Sodium Formaldehyde Sulfoxylate, Chloride Magnesium hexahydrate, polyethylene glycol 400, water for injection.

Properties
Oxytetracycline is a bacteriostatic antibiotic that inhibits protein synthesis in bacteria. Oxy-Conjugated Long-acting 200 mg/ml liquid for injection, intended to give a long-acting effect Against bacteria so that it maintains the level of concentration in the blood for at least days.
Uses
OXYTETRAVET-200LA is used to control and treat a wide range of diseases in cattle,sheep, and goats such as rheumatoid arthritis atrophic rhinitis, omphalitis/arthritis, mastitis, uterine inflammation, septicemia Pasteurella Respiratory infections and in the control of abortion in sheep.

Target animals
Cows, sheep, and goats.
Dosages
OXYTETRAVET-200LA is given by deep intramuscular injection.
Cattle, sheep, and goats: 1 ml / 10 kg of body weight.
It is recommended to use OXYTETRAVET-200LA only once Maximum dose that can be injected in one site.
Cows: 20 ml.
Sheep and goats: 5 ml.
Contraindications
Not for use on dogs, cats, horses, and donkeys.
OXYTETRAVET-200LA is not used in animals suffering from kidney or kidney failure.
It is not used in sheep-producing milk intended for human consumption.
withdrawal period
Meat: 28 days.
Milk: 10 days.
Not to be used in sheep-producing milk intended for human consumption.
Storage
Store OXYTETRAVET-200LA away from light in a dry place at a temperature below 20°C.
Shelf life: 29 months.
Disposal instructions
Any unused material from the veterinary product or residues from the veterinary product must be disposed of including according to local guidelines.
