Promectin Plus Paste is used to treat and control tapeworms, roundworms, skin lesions, and microfilariae. It is also highly effective against skin and lungworms in horses of all ages.

Indications
1-Promectin plus All wormer Paste for Horses is highly effective against tapeworms and gastrointestinal, cutaneous and pulmonary nematodes and bots of horses of all ages.
2-Regular treatment will reduce the chances of verminous arteritis and colic caused by Strongylus vulgaris.
3-Promectin plus Allwormer Paste for Horses may be safely used on horses of all ages. Mares may be treated at any stage of pregnancy. Stallions may be treated without adversely affecting their fertility.
4-At the recommended dose level of 1 mL per 20 kg bodyweight, Promectin plus Allwormer Paste for Horses controls the following parasites:
Tapeworms: Anoplocephala perfoliata, Anoplocephala magna, Paranoplocephala mamillana (adult and immature, heads and segments).
Large Strongyles: Strongylus vulgaris (adults and arterial larval stages), Strongylus edentatus (adults and tissue stages), Strongylus equinus (adults) and Triodontophorus spp. (adults).
Small Strongyles: Including benzimidazole resistant strains (adult and immature) Cyathostomum spp., Cylicocyclus spp., Cylicostephanus spp., Cylicodontophorus spp., Gyalocephalus spp.
Pinworms: Oxyuris equi (adult and immature).
Ascarids: Parascaris equorum (adult and immature).
Hairworms: Trichostrongylus axei (adult).
Large Mouth Stomach Worms: Habronema muscae (adult).
Neck Threadworms: Onchocerca spp. (microfilariae).
Bots: Gasterophilus spp. (oral and gastric stages).
Lungworms: Dictyocaulus arnfieldi (adult and immature).
Intestinal Threadworms: Strongyloides westeri (adult).
5-Promectin plus Allwormer Paste for Horses also effectively controls skin lesions caused by Habronema and Draschia spp. cutaneous larvae
(summer sores) and microfilariae of Onchocerca spp. (cutaneous onchocerciasis). All horses should be included in a regular parasite control programme,
with particular attention paid to mares, foals and yearlings. Because re-infection is common, treatment must be repeated routinely for effective control.

Dosage and Administration
Dose orally at the recommended rate of:
0.2 mg/kg abamectin and 2.5 mg/kg praziquantel.
Each weight marking on the syringe plunger will deliver
sufficient paste to treat 50 kg bodyweight.
The contents of the syringe will treat a total of 600 kg bodyweight.
Administration:
1-Turn the ring on the plunger to the appropriate bodyweight setting.
2-Insert the syringe into the side of the horse’s mouth, in the gap between the front and back teeth.
3-Advance the plunger as far as it will go, depositing the paste on the rear of the tongue.
4-Immediately raise the horse’s head for a few seconds after dosing, to ensure the full dose has been swallowed.
