COMPOSITION
Each ml Brosicol-20 contains
- Ampicillin Trihydrate ...................... 200 mg
DESCRIPTION
The active ingredient is Ampicillin, a semi synthetic penicillin with broad spectrum bactericidal activity against Gram-positive & Gram-negative Organisms including Actinomyces, Baoillus anthracis, Brucella SPP Salmonella Spp clostridia SPP Corynebacterium streptococci, staphylococci & E coli & Vibro SPP, Ampicillin also active against many spirochaetes including Leplospira SPP
INDICATIONS
is a broad spectrum antibiotic active against a wide range of Gram-postive and Gram-nagetive causing alimentary, respiratory and urogenital tract infections.
DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION
For intramuscular injections.
Cattle:
5-10mg/kg, equivalent to 2.5-5ml/100kg bodyweight twice daily for 3-5 days.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD
Meat: 40 days.
Milk: 7 days.
PRECAUTIONS
Do not use in animals with known hypersensitivity to the active ingredient.
Store below 25°C at dry place & protect from light.
Keep out of the reach of children.
