Joprim contains Trimethoprim & Sulphadiazine which are broad-spectrum antibiotics for the treatment of pneumonia & diarrhea in poultry & sheep let’s know more about the product
COMPOSITION :
Each 1 gm Joprim contains :
Trimethoprim…………………80 mg
Sulphadiazine Sodium……400 mg
DESCRIPTION :
it has abroad spectrum action and dual efficacy against most gram-ve and gram+ve bacteria due to its content of Trimethoprim and Sulphadiazine sodium.
it is rapidly absorbed and distributed through the body and excreted via the kidneys.
INDICATIONS :
Joprim is indicated in bacterial infections caused by gram-ve and gram+ve bacterial especially E.coli ,Haemophilus , Salmonella, and Pasteurella in poultry and sheep
DOSAGE:
Poultry: 40 gm /200 liters of drinking water for 5 days
Sheep: 1 gm / 15 kg B.W for 5 days.
Warning
Do not use it for kidney failure or Gumboro infection.
