Each 1 gm Sulpha-Pure powder contains:
Sulfadimidine sodium 1000 mg
Indications
Sulpha-Pure is used for treatment of infections caused by microorganisms both bacteria and coccidia susceptible to sulphadimidine.
Dosage and Administration
Sulpha-Pure for oral administration via the drinking water.
Calves: 100 mg per kg bodyweight with a dosage interval of 12-24 hours during 3-5 day
Poultry : 100 mg per kg bodyweight corresponding to approximately 1 g Sulpha-Pure powder per 1-2 litres of drinking water depending on actual water intake
In case of acute coccidiosis: Administration during 3 consecutive days; after 2 days of treatment, another 3 day treatment.
In case of subclinical coccidiosis: Administration for 3 consecutive days.
Contraindications
1- Sulpha-Pure should not be used in animals suffering from serious liver or kidney disease, or in sick animals whose fluid intake is accompanied by decreased or reduced urine output, or in cases of uric acidosis.
2- It should not be used in animals suffering from damage to the circulatory system.
3- It should not be used in laying hens.
4- It should not be used in cases of hypersensitivity to sulfa compounds.
5- Do not exceed the specified dose without consulting a veterinarian.
Side effects
1- Hypersensitivity reactions may occur, but they are very rare in the target species. Poultry, especially young birds, have shown decreased water and feed intake and growth rate after ingesting sodium sulfadiazine in drinking water.
2- Renal disturbances may occur, which may be more pronounced in cases of decreased urine output after using this product in ruminants. Occasionally, temporary interference with rumen function and microflora activity may occur; however, spontaneous recovery is likely.

Store Sulpha-Pure below 25c, Store in a dry place protect from light.
