Ultra b Neurotropic vitamin association for cattle , sheep, horses , dogs & cats rich in vitamin B supplement which is effective in the treatment of vitamin b1 deficiency (Thiamine deficiency) or Polioencephalomalacia
COMPOSITION
Ultra B contains
- Vitamin B1 10 g
- Vitamin B6 0.8 grams
- Sodium edetate. 0.05 grams
- Methylparahydroxybenzoate 0.09g
- Propylparahydroxybenzoate. 0.01 grams
- Excipient 100 ml
DIRECTIONS
Vitamin therapy in cattle, horses, pigs, sheep, goats and canines
ADMINISTRATION AND DOSAGE
-I.V.-I.M. Routes – Oral
To be administered for 2 days.
Ruminants, Horses, Pigs: 10 ml per 100 kg.
Prevention of necrosis of the cerebral cortex: 1 ml per 100 kg per day.
Carnivores: 0.5 ml to 2 ml per animal.
PROPERTIES - MODE OF ACTION
Vitamin B1 is essential for the nutrition of the nervous system, muscles and glands.
Ultra b intervenes in carbohydrate metabolism during muscle contraction.
Its deficiency causes an accumulation of toxic waste, resulting from the incomplete breakdown of carbohydrates in the blood and tissues, causing serious disorders in the central nervous system.
Vitamin B6 is involved in the transformation of amino acids.
It is essential in the metabolism of tryptophan and therefore plays a role in the constitution of hemoglobin.
it mobilizes also hepatic glycogen and is involved in muscle and heart contractions.
