Clavit is a veterinary antibiotic suspension for injection that has bactericidal activity against a wide range of bacteria and is therefore used as an antibiotic for respiratory tract infections as well as soft tissue infections in cattle, cats and dogs.

Indications for Clavit

Clavit is active in vitro against a wide range of bacteria, including strains resistant to amoxicillin alone due to beta-lactamase production.
Clavit is used clinically to treat diseases including:
Livestock: Respiratory infections, soft tissue infections
Infections (e.g. joint or umbilical diseases, abscesses etc.).

Dogs and cats:
Respiratory and urinary tract infections.
Skin and soft tissue infections e.g. abscesses, pyoderma, pyoderma, anal vesiculitis, gingivitis.

How to give

Injected subcutaneously and intramuscularly.

Milk for human consumption should not be consumed during treatment.
Milk intended for human consumption may only be consumed from cattle 80 hours after the last treatment. يجب عدم ذبح الحيوانات للاستهلاك الآدمي أثناء العلاج.
Livestock can only be slaughtered for human consumption 42 days after the last transaction.

Storage condition

Clavit may not be stored above 25 degrees Celsius.
