It is also used in the treatment of feline dermatitis, and the treatment of urinary tract infections in cats and dogs as well.

Lincospectin (cat antibiotic)
Sterile injectable antibiotic solution containing:
lincomycin and spectinomycin.
الاستخدامات
To treat infections in dogs and cats caused by the bacteria Staphylococcus aureus, Pasteurella maltosida, Streptococcus and Mycoplasma.
In dogs:
Lincospectin is used in the treatment of:
Respiratory infections, skin diseases, and urinary tract infections.
Such as:
Pneumonia, pharyngitis and tonsillitis.
Bronchitis, purulent dermatitis, pustular dermatitis, and abscesses.
Cystitis and metritis.
In cats:
Lincospectin is used in the treatment of:
Urinary tract and upper respiratory tract infections and localized infections.
such as:
Cystitis, upper respiratory tract infections, infected wounds and abscesses.
الجرعة وطريقة الاستعمال
Lincospectin is given by intramuscular injection only.
الجرعة:
1.0 ml per 5 kg of body weight.
The dose can be repeated at intervals of 12 to 24 hours for up to 21 days.
Contraindications and warnings
Contraindications:
As with all drugs, sterile Lincospectin solution is contraindicated in animals previously found to be hypersensitive to lincomycin or spectinomycin or to the combination.
Lincomycin has been shown to be toxic to rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters and chinchillas.
Therefore, sterile solution Lincospectin is contraindicated in these species.
Warnings:
For intramuscular use in dogs and cats only.
Keep out of the reach of children.

Store at a temperature between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius.
A slight haze may occur in an unopened vial of sterile Lenco Spectin solution, but it does not affect the product’s potency or therapeutic efficacy.
