Composition
Each ml Tay-max 200 contains 200 mg Tylosin.
Indications
Tay-max 200 is used in the treatment of infections caused by tylosin susceptible bacteria in cattle, sheep, goat and turkey.
Dosage & Administration
Unless otherwise recommended by your veterinarian, the daily dose is 10 mg per kilogram of body weight per day by injection.
This medication is used in practice at a dose of 1 ml per 20 kg of body weight per day for target species (except turkeys).
It is used at a dose of 0.3 ml per 5 kg of body weight per day for turkeys.
Treatment for 5-6 days is usually effective.
The maximum single-site injection dose for cattle is 15 ml, and for sheep and goats, 5 ml.
Ty-Max 200 is administered by intramuscular injection for all species.

Turkey: 5 days
Milk: 4 days 8 milking

Storage
Store Ty Max below 25°C without freezing or refrigeration.
Shelf life: 36 months from the date of manufacture.
Protect from sunlight.
Must be used within 28 days after first opening.
Do not dilute as it is ready to use.
Presentation
Tay-max 200 is commercially presented in 50 ml and 100 ml Type Il amber coloured glass vials with grey brombuthyl stopper and blue flip off cap.
