Microparas10% is used as a broad spectrum gastrointestinal and pulmonary parasiticide, tenicide and fasciolicide containing veterinary albendazole for cows and sheep. All details are mentioned below..
Formula:
Each 100 ml of Microparas10% contains:
Albendazole ……………………………10 g ( veterinary albendazole )
Excipients q.s.ad ……………………..100 ml
INDICATIONS:
Microparas10% used as Broad spectrum gastrointestinal and pulmonary parasiticide, tenicide, and fasciolicide. ( veterinary albendazole )
Gastrointestinal nematodes (adults and immature): Haemonchus spp., Ostertagia spp. (including hypobiotic larvae of ostertagii) ,Trichostrongylus spp, Cooperia spp, Nematodirus spp, Oesophagostomum spp, Bunostomum spp. Chabertiaspp, Strongyloides spp..
Pulmonary Nematodes: Dictyocaulus spp. Cestodes: Moniezzia spp. Trematodes: Fasciola hepatica (adult). (Anoplocephalidae).
DOSAGE:
Microparas10% should Shake well before use, and periodically during dosage of animals.
Bovine and ovine:
Against Gastrointestinal and pulmonary nematodes and Cestodes:
1 ml every 20 kg body weight (equivalent to 5 mg/kg body weight of Albendazole).
In cases of Ostertagiasis type II (hypobiotic larvae of O. Ostertagii):
1 ml every 13 kg of body weight (equivalent to 7.5 mg/kg of body weight of Albendazole).
Against adult Fasciola hepatica:
1 ml every 10 kg body weight (equivalent to 10 mg/kg body weight of Albendazole).
ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION:
Microparas10% used Orally.
CONTRAINDICATIONS AND USAGE RESTRICTIONS:
Microparas10% does not have at the indicated dosages.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:
Treated animals with Microparas10%must not be slaughtered for human consumption for at least 14 days for bovines and 10 days for ovine from last treatment.
Do not use milk taken from treated animals for human consumption.
Keep the product in a cool and dry place in its original tightly closed container, away from direct sunlight.
