Bayta Q prol is an anticoccidial medication to treat coccidiosis caused by eimeria in poultry
Composition
Each 1 kg of Bayta Q prol contains
Sulphaquinoxaline sodium ———- 214.6 gm
(Eq. to sulphaquinoxaline base200 gm)
Amprolium hydrochloride ———– 226.2 gm
(Eq. to amprolium base 200 gm)
Vitamin K3—————————— 2.5 gm
PROPERTIES
Amprolium: interferes with vitamin B1 utilized by coccidia
Sulpha quinoxaline: interferes with folic acid synthesis by coccidia
Vitamin K3: act as a hemostatic medication
Indications
Bayta Q prol is indicated in case of
Treatment of coccidiosis in poultry
(Broilers – Replacement chickens) caused by
Eimeria tenella, E. necatrix,E. acervulina, E. maxima, and E. brunette
DOSAGE
gm0.5 – 1 / Liter of drinking water, each 12 hrs
0.5gm – 1gm /10 Kg.B.Wt.) for 3-5 days
