composition
Tylosav 200 contains
- Tylosin (as tartrate)............. 200 mg/ml
- Benzyl alcohol, propylene glycol, sodium citrate and water for injection
Indications
Tylosav 200 animal antibiotic injection for treating infections caused by microorganisms susceptible to tylosin.
For the treatment of bovine respiratory complex diseases (shipping fever, pneumonia), foot rot (necrotic pododermatitis) and calf diphtheria
Contraindications
Do not administer this animal antibiotic injection to animals with a known hypersensitivity to tylosin or other macrolides.
Do not administer to horses.
Intramuscular injection can be fatal in chickens and turkeys.

Dosage, route and method of administration
By intramuscular injection Administer 10 mg Tylosav 200/kg bodyweight twice daily
Treatment should be carried out for 3 to 5consecutive days To ensure a correct dosage, body weight should be determined as accurately as possible to avoid underdosing
Withdrawal period
Meat: 28 days
Milk: 7 days
storage
Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
Store below 30°C.
Store in a dry place. Protect from light.
Punched vial should be used within 28 days.
Overdose
In calves, an intramuscular injection of 30 mg/kg per day during 5 consecutive days produced no adverse effects
